Evolution Dance Theatre creates beauty in the world
through performances that celebrate our commonalities and embrace our differences,
in order
to spark social change.
Evolution Dance Theatre develops and performs original immersive spectacles of dance, music, visual art, and storytelling — uniting audiences and igniting conversations on shared humanity. These stories both entertain and provoke dialogue on social and humanistic themes — crossing boundaries of gender and generation, bridging global cultural gaps, and reinforcing the universality of the human condition.
Evolution Dance Theatre fuses culturally rich dance forms with a variety of other genres as a canvas for transformative experiences that include live and recorded music, performances, videos, digital media, set décor, special effects, and beautiful imagery to transport audiences on a wondrous journey into the depths of the human spirit. Evolution Dance Theatre focuses on the unity of the human race while showcasing characters who exhibit courage, strength, and determination while facing cultural or social challenges.
Through its breathtaking performances, Evolution Dance Theatre portrays beauty, hope, and empowerment — sparking transformation in ourselves, in our audiences, and in the world. Inspired by the ethos “we always have a choice,” our work uplifts, awakens hearts, and encourages reflection, connecting people across cultures.

Evolution Dance Theatre, a federally registered Canadian not-for-profit company established in 2008, works hand in hand with its American LLC counterpart under a shared mandate to: Entertain, Educate, and Inspire.
